Day to day job, fixation on making enough money to stay alive, having to worry about asinine laws... There's no living involved. There's no true freedom. You can do what you like, so long as you can afford it. I'd love nothing more than to be able to create endlessly and spend time with people I love, without worrying about rent or taxes or any of that. I'd be more than happy to go back to roots and live off the land. What's the point of convenience if the cost is the better part of your life? What's the point to existing if it's not truly for your benefit? Not to say that you should be wholly selfish, but that you shouldn't sacrifice several decades behind a desk. Live life, and make it matter; to you, and to those around you.
